Solomon - The Scholar 006

While painting this series I watched and studied many films. One of the films I payed close attention to visually was Coppola’s Dracula film. The use of unique old optical tricks and lighting styles really inspired me and this piece. I wanted to find a way to capture the mood, tone, energy that the film gave me in this piece.
