I wanted to find an interesting composition to frame the character in this one. I loved the idea of having it resting within the shape of an eye and using light to guide us around the composition. Often times before I start working on a composition I will sketch out a quick/small thumbnail in my sketchbook to see if it will work. Its a good fast way to test the effectiveness of your work before you invest to much time.
