METROID - 002/005

Painting 002 in the series of 5. This was actually one of the first paintings in the series that I did which lead me to find a balance of isolation in the others. With this piece I wanted to add as much energy and bravado possible giving Samus the hunter of the pack look and feel I would get upon completing a tough task or boss in the original game. With this series personally I wanted to push myself and see how far I could push my abilities and workflow in a very limited amount of time. Knowing Aeph’s track would be paired to the visuals made me all the more excited and added a sense of wonder to the development phase of creation.
