019 – THE SHALLOWS DEEP

Our horrific denouement had become a cautionary tale... A bedtime story told to those in both the REBELLION and the EMPIRE. It was first reported, and archived, as our final battle. Our last stand. The debris, an ever-shifting monument to the vast unmarked grave of our last, and lost soldiers. They'd later come to realize that this shrine was empty, and our deaths had proven to be a necessary camouflage for the true final act.

Most of who we are as artists today comes from our past and our key influences. Growing up in the 80’s and heavily influenced on the art from the 70’s-80’s this piece is a bit of a tribute to the look and feel that that art gave us growing up. Nothing like the fuel of Nostalgia to propel ambition.
